This week Incorporatewear Limited (ICW) has been sold by the Australian company, Workwear Group, to the Birmingham based business, Direct Corporate Clothing plc (DCC).
DCC is one of the UK’s leading uniform, workwear and personal protective equipment (PPE) suppliers and is recognised by the London Stock Exchange as a Top 1000 company inspiring Britain. DCC currently has revenue in excess of £40 million, servicing clients in the construction, utilities, transport, facility management, hospitality, retail and healthcare sectors.
ICW General Manager Ed Grigg – “These are exciting times in the next chapter of the ICW story. The combination of two such recognised brands in the industry will provide great opportunities for our existing and new customers, whilst allowing us to continue to deliver on our strategic objectives”
DCC Joint Managing Director Sam Sohal – “DCC is proud to announce the acquisition of ICW. The acquisition will further strengthen our current client base and add new sectors which complement each company’s supply chain and service offering. The two companies will operate independently but will share best practice to enhance their overall product offerings. We are pleased that the current senior management team will remain with ICW and will continue under the leadership of Ed Grigg”
The existing leadership team of ICW will continue to manage the business. The ICW brand and all customer and supplier contracts will be unaffected by this change in ownership.
